Join us for Minro’s very first drawing workshop for kids aged 7+. Our newest, Lindsey, comes from 10+ years of teaching art, and we are so excited to offer this and other workshops soon!
Lindsey will teach different drawing techniques throughout the three days, join us for a fun and new workshops, all levels welcome!
We will need at least three kids to participate or the workshop will be cancelled.

Kids workshop (5-7 years)
Kids workshop
Location: Minro Studio
Dates: 7/27, 7/28, 7/29, 7/30
Time: 11am - 12:30pm
We're inviting kids to join us for a 4-day workshop where they'll make their own pieces with a small group of young creators. We stick to certain themes throughout the week
Over the course of the four days, kids will dive into the world of hand building, learning the ins and outs of coil, pinch pot, and slab techniques. The workshop is all about learning new skills and building confidence.
Each artist will get to put their personal touch on their creations, painting / drawing on them before we add a glossy clear glaze.
We may explore other art mediums and combine them with our clay!
All classes include clay, underglaze/paint, glaze and firing.
We will need at least three kids to participate or the camp will be cancelled.
We, unfortunately, can't accommodate or reimburse for missed classes. Let us know if you or your child have questions at hello@minrostudio.com
The pieces will be ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks after the last class.
Ceramics are created using earth, fire, air and water and sometimes these four elements have their own mind. Our classes are all about the experience, however, if for any reason, some breakage happens, we cannot provide a refund, but will give a discount for a new class. Time: 4:45-6:15
Join us for a 4-day sculpting workshop!
Jess will guide our students in creating 2-3 detailed projects with a focus on craftsmanship, intricate design, and more advanced techniques.
Over the three days, we will introduce project options and it is also strongly encouraged that the students bring a printed photo of what they want to make. They’ll spend the first two classes carefully building their pieces, and the final class will be dedicated to painting and finishing.

Wheel throwing 10+
Location: Minro Studio
Dates: 6/29, 6/30, 7/1, 7/2
Time: 3-5pm
The wheel throwing workshop is for children who want to explore wheel throwing. The wheel is a powerful machine, so we want children to be at least 10 years old to join. Throughout the four weeks, they will learn basic skills on the wheel, trimming, and glazing. Students will make and glaze about 3-6 pieces in our studio glazes.
Class meets for two hours each day
Day 1: Get familiar with basic skills like centering, opening up and pulling walls
Day 2: Continuous exploration of centering and pulling walls
Day 3: Trimming pieces + surface design
Day 4: Painting, carving, attaching handles,
Pick up your pieces within 4-6 weeks of the last class. We will send you an email once they are ready.
