The wheel throwing workshop is for children who want to explore wheel throwing. The wheel is a powerful machine, so we want children to be at least 10 years old to join. Throughout the four weeks, Lindsey will teach basic skills on the wheel, trimming, and glazing. Students will make and glaze about 3-6 pieces.

Class meets for two hours each day

Day 1: Get familiar with basic skills like centering, opening up and pulling walls

Day 2: Continuous exploration of centering and pulling walls

Day 3: Trimming pieces + surface design

Day 4: Painting, carving, attaching handles,

Pick up your pieces within 4-6 weeks of the last class. We will send you an email once they are ready.

All classes include clay, underglaze/paint, glaze and firing.

We, unfortunately, can't accommodate or reimburse for missed classes.

We need at least three participants to have the workshop.
